This is a picture of my horse named Spanish. He is a registered Arabian gelding and is 18 years old. This is one of my favorite photos of him because he looks so cute in the afternoon sun. All together my family has 4 horses, and they are all loving horses.
![]() This is a photograph of my horse that I am training that is a 5 year old mare. (It may sound crazy, but I am only 15 years old. I'm obsessed about horses and one of my dreams is to become a barrel racer or a person that jumps horses.) We call her 'Shonie- Baby,' but her real name is Shoshonie. She's not registered, but I still think that she is a beautiful animal. [BELOW] This is my Uncle Randy riding her this year during hunting season.
![]() [BELOW] Here is a better picture of Shoshonie when she was 3 or 4. This is a funny picture of her for some reason, but it's better than the one of her up top. Shoshonie is darker that this, but the sun is shinning on her just right that she looks light in color. She has filled out nicely and is the most trusting animal that you will ever meet. She is a great trail animal and this summer she held about 410 pounds, up steep hills. I was so shocked because my dad's horse that is about twice her size was only holding my dad on little hills and he pooped out. She's smaller in size, but she gets the job done. I'm sure glad that she is my horse because we are such close friends that we know what the other one is thinking. She just enjoys people and will walk right up to you and muzzle you to get your attention. Her favorite thing to do (besides eating) is to be riden. She is so fast and smooth it is unbelievable. Shonie just adores kids and she's so mellow. You can walk right under her, lift up her hooves, lay on her back while she is sleeping (I have done it befor) and do just about anything you want to do to her and she does not care. She is my special pony, and I will have her for years to come.
